Mentorship in the Carribbean- French

 A person can advance in their job, build their network, and learn new skills from mentors. Having a mentor can also provide them an unbiased viewpoint on difficulties and chances. They may assist them in learning new abilities, enhancing their performance, giving them useful feedback, and keeping them motivated and laser-focused on their objectives. I'll concentrate on two mentorship examples found in Chapter 2 of the book Tour de Force. 1.The beguine is one of the most famous dance styles to originate from Martinique.This genrue haas its roots in Saint Pierre. This dance style is still prominent in Martinique today butit can only stay alive due to Mentorship.Celebrating their African ancestors through ancestral dance, they create areas where they can promote debate and action about both personal and societal identity, creativity, and healing through dance. Mentorship in the Caribbean -English

  The youth can benefit from mentoring as they navigate difficult life events, such as adjusting to upsetting shifts at home or becoming an adult. Success depends on strong, long-lasting connections between mentors and mentees that are honest, helpful, and genuine.   In Chapter 1 of the text Tour de Force, there were many examples of mentorship I will focus on two of them. 1. In Saint Lucia there is a school of music that was established in 1987 to encourage the youth to be more active in culture via music. The school started a community program called "Manmay-la- Di-Wai.The school also has a collaborative relationship with the Venezuelan El Sistema program to provide more opportunity for mentorship in the community(Gangelhoff & LeGrand, 2020).Free music classes and practice time are offered by the program, usually after school and on weekends.
